Since Artemisia annua is a purely natural product, there may be slight differences in appearance and fragrance.

The only difference is that Artemisia annua or Moringa leaf cuts are the dried leaves of the plant, while Artemisia or Moringa leaf powder are the same dried leaves that are pulverized using a grinder.

Artemisia leaf powder is ideal as a cosmetic raw material , while Artemisia leaf cuts are preferably used as incense .

There are no differences in the ingredients/components.

Our variety of annual mugwort has up to 20 times the active ingredient content , making it particularly popular as a valuable ingredient in high-quality natural cosmetics .

In addition, it does not yet have any flowers at the time of harvest in late autumn, which makes it a very allergy-friendly subspecies .

This " masterpiece of the green treasure chest" is available exclusively from us.

Ensuring Artemisia annua products meet high quality standards requires a great deal of effort.

It is therefore hardly surprising that the price of high-quality products is adjusted accordingly and that comparatively cheap products cannot possibly meet the same quality standards.

For example, a field worker in Germany earns about 100 times as much as a picker in Northeast India. For the price we pay our German farmers for 1 kilo of produce, we would get 150 kilos of (brown) wild-type produce from Asia.

Annual mugwort ( Artemisia annua) and common mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) are two remarkable plants from the daisy family.

The leaves of annual mugwort are finely pinnate, giving them a delicate, graceful appearance . Their color is deep green. The leaves of common mugwort are broader and larger.

The most important difference is that, unlike common mugwort, annual mugwort (Artemisia annua) contains a high proportion of secondary plant substances . Neither is considered a food.

Our Artemisia is harvested and bottled exclusively by certified producers and according to the highest quality standards in Germany.

Tractors are usually used for the usual harvest in Europe, resulting in a significant amount of "weeds." Our leaves are carefully and meticulously stripped by hand by our growers and then processed gently to preserve the many valuable ingredients and thus offer you a product of the highest possible quality and purity .

In contrast to the usual Herba quality, which consists of mechanically chopped plant parts and usually contains 80% empty stems, our product is also much more concentrated .

Moringa oleifera grows in tropical and subtropical climates. Our moringa comes from Anamed fields in Cameroon.
The Moringa is packaged and ground in Germany.

Euphorbia hirta is also a tropical plant. We obtain our Euphorbia hirta through wild collection by our employees in the bushland of Tanzania and Congo. Euphorbia hirta is packaged in Germany.

Eucalyptus maidenii grows in tropical and subtropical climates. The leaves are picked by our project partner in the highlands of Malawi and packaged in Germany.

Lemongrass comes from our farms in Malawi and Sri Lanka and is packaged in Germany.

We only carefully strip the leaves of the plants by hand and then dry them.
There are no stems or flowers in our products!

Our leaf-cut products (formerly "broken") are extremely dried, which is the only reason they can be frozen. To do this, wrap the bags in a layer of aluminum foil (to preserve the essential oils) and another plastic bag, then freeze. Thaw unopened before consumption to prevent condensation from entering. The products we currently supply will then have a shelf life of at least five years at minus 18 degrees Celsius.

At Tesana, we care about nature, which is why we pursue a zero-waste policy. All our packaging is fully recyclable or incinerable without residue, producing no toxic emissions.

Reuse and recycle properly.

Selected packaging sizes come in recyclable kraft paper stand-up pouches, free of aluminum and PVC. Here, too, multiple use or upcycling is recommended before recycling the packaging.

Tesana is committed to a sustainable circular economy and participates in the dual waste disposal system.

For one cup, add about 1 teaspoon of lemongrass tea to a pot with 250 ml of water, bring to a boil, remove from the heat, and let it steep for at least 15 minutes. Then strain and enjoy. Or boil 1 liter of water with 1 tablespoon of lemongrass tea, etc., and drink it throughout the day to do yourself some good.
