A stroke of genius from nature: "The Queen of Plants" Artemisia annua (German: Mugwort) contains over 600 natural plant compounds and is harvested for you with heart and passion by regional farmers in Germany.
Alcohol-free fragrance essence: In addition to fine leaf cuttings of our in-house Artemisia annua, we use DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) of the highest purity (99.9%) - which reliably extracts all the plant active ingredients from the raw material. The ratio of plant to DMSO is 1:5 (corresponding to a fresh plant ratio of 1:1).
Tradition meets modern botany: The DMSO extract matures for a week in the dark, is gently agitated daily, and extracted multiple times. This traditional process ensures that the plant components are extracted particularly thoroughly - the result is an intense, deep green glowing extract with a characteristic, aromatic-spicy scent.
Light-protected and practical: Careful bottling takes place in high-quality brown glass with a pipette lid. This blocks UV rays and thus protects the valuable contents. You can therefore safely store the bottle for a longer period and take it anywhere.
First-class quality and purity: Our DMSO extract meets the highest quality standards and is regularly microbiologically tested by independent laboratories in Germany.

Anwendung

As fragrance / cosmetic raw material according to CLP regulation:

1. Use as a fragrance

When vaporized, the Artemisia annua DMSO extract releases a characteristic, aromatic-spicy scent that is described as clarifying and grounding.

1.1 Scent lamp with water

- Fill a bowl with water.
- Add 3–10 drops of the Artemisia annua DMSO extract.
- Place a tea light underneath and light it.
- The extract slowly evaporates and spreads its pleasant scent throughout the room.

1.2 Diffuser (electric or with fragrance sticks)

- Add 3–5 drops of the Artemisia annua DMSO extract to the diffuser's water tank.
- Turn on the device – it will distribute the fragrance as a fine, even mist.
- Alternatively, you can also use the extract for room diffusers with wooden sticks.

2. Use as a cosmetic raw material:

According to the EU Commission's CosIng database (Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products) CAS No.: 84775-74-6 | EC No.: 283-903-4, Artemisia annua is listed as a versatile cosmetic ingredient. You can use the Artemisia annua DMSO extract as an ingredient for Artemisia annua ointments, creams, and lip care products.

3. Use as a chemical raw material:

STORAGE:

Store protected from light, upright, and at ≥19°C. DMSO crystallizes below 19°C and becomes liquid again at room temperature. The quality is not affected. Keep out of reach of children.
