How we jointly support projects worldwide:
Our wish is that even people who live and work in the simplest conditions can meet their health needs independently and with locally available resources. But how do you contribute to this when you shop at Tesana? A portion of the proceeds is used to support projects worldwide in cooperation with Tesana partner associations and aid organizations. Donation campaigns
In close cooperation with our partner associations, we are committed to people in developing countries and crisis areas. For example, we were able to support an orphanage in Tanzania with a donation of Moringa oleifera.
Additionally, our partners are involved in various countries such as Malawi, Kenya, Eritrea, the Philippines, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Gabon, and many others, to help local communities.
Seminars
Our partner associations regularly conduct seminars in the tropics. They particularly train multipliers and build local networks. In the image below, you can see one such seminar, which took place in Tanzania.
High quality at fair prices: How we support small, sustainable businesses
As you can see in the image below, our high-quality Moringa oleifera leaf cut is grown under controlled conditions on Lake Victoria in Tanzania, Africa, far from any industry. The climate in this region is optimal, characterized by abundant sunny days and ideal temperatures - so natural that hippos and crocodiles bid each other goodnight there. Upon arrival in Germany, despite the ideal growing conditions, we subject all our products to regular microbiological examinations by an independent German testing laboratory, which checks the goods for quality, harmful substances, and heavy metals - the results are well below the permissible limits.

If Africa sells goods to Europe today, prices are at rock bottom. This is partly due to the fact that in conventional trade it is common practice to pay a small surcharge of 10 or 20% on the local market value. However, when we buy our Moringa from Tanzania, we pay a surcharge of 3000%, i.e. 30 times the local market value. Only in this way can our growers and harvest helpers there send their children to schools that deserve the name. We also obtain parts of our finely cut lemongrass tea from our partner farm in Malawi in excellent Tesana quality.
